In our party, we ordered the Swordfish special which was served with pistachio white wine sauce served with fresh lentels.  We also ordered the mahi mahi which was fresh and delicious.  I couldn’t decide between my all time favorite veal ossobuco or chicken pasta.  Their chef Fabrizio made a chicken and pasta dish made to order.  It was to die for.

Alex helped us plan the surprise birthday party and since Gourmet Italia is his favorite Temecula restaurant it wasn’t hard to lure him in there with the promise of one of their famous martini’s for a quiet birthday drink.  We had about 30 people and a wonderful appetizer buffet, all for an incredibly reasonable price.  Everyone had a great time and Alex and Nora made certain it was special for us.  We even set up two lap tops and used the restaurant’s free wifi to skype in his two sons.  We have had small corporate dinners at Gourmet Italia, a small and beautiful wedding party, and business meetings at Gourmet Italia and have always received the best service and great food.  Alex and his staff create an intimate setting which is perfect for most occasions, with detail to service, food, and hospitality.
