Now I know why people purchase artificial turf in Sacramento, CA and other places .. just read on.
I feel a bit bad about writing this post, as I am writing about my neighbor and his feudal attempt at growing grass and I really just want him to give in and buy synthetic grass. You see I live in this idyllic neighborhood, I call it Pleasantville, where every one has perfect grass, perfect decorations, two cars and 2.3 kids .. So when new neighbors moved in to a bank owned home, well the grass wasn’t up to par, so our new neighbors decided to plant grass.
Well each day, morning and night, they are out there watering, weeding, willing the grass to grow … Ahh, it seems to grow just fine in the area that it isn’t supposed to, but on the lawn, well no go.
Each time Shadow (my dog) and I walk by, I feel like telling him to give it up to buy artificial grass, but instead I smile and do my best Stepford wife wave and say, “It is coming along”, or “Looking Good”.
Really I want him to call a synthetic grass company like Field of Green in Sacramento, CA and start enjoying his morning, nights, and weekends. So if you are looking for turf in the Sacramento, CA area, give Brian McGibbon a call. He is a big fan of elocal listing and has several Premium Accounts with us.
He also has the most adorable son .. Just Look for yourself!

OK, I have to give you an update on our grass situation. A truck pulled up to the neighbor’s house (who I will all Bob to protect the innocent (me)). On the truck was … oh no, sod! Poor “Bob” labored for months every day, plucking, planting, watering … nothing worked. I wanted to ask him how much money and time he had wasted, but I looked in his garage and saw a lonely motorcycle waiting to be taken for a ride, if it weren’t for that dreaded grass that never grew … but I didn’t I did my best “Stepford Wife” wave and hurried along the dog who thought this grass looked much better than the old stuff to do, well I think you get the picture! Happy Holidays!
